The first thing I noticed when I moved to Melbourne was all the homless people asking for money, cigarettes, and lunch when your walking along the streets or sitting on public transport.
Its not so bad on the train, but the trams.. just give me a break!
I'm also not fond of seeing the same homeless people over and over again. In the past 2 yrs I have seen the same three people in the same spot doing the same thing and it makes me wonder whether they're actually trying to improve their situation and why that should be a big enough insentive to put my hand in my pocket and give them what I have.
